The Foundation Clinic is in Oaklands, Johannesburg and the clients live as part of a recovery family on being admitted to the clinic. The beautiful gardens allow time to relax and reflect on learnings, and the rooms are shared so that individuals become more aware of the impact of behaviour on one another.
There is a medical detox room where patients can be kept under close observation by the 24-hour nursing staff during their initial detox period. The nursing station is also equipped with the necessary equipment should any medical emergencies occur and the clinic has 24-hour ADT access to additional security and ambulance services. The clinic is monitored by 24-hour security staff, and recovery staff are on duty from 8:00am to 8:00pm daily (except Sundays).
The residential house is also set up to instill order and structure into the patients’ lives so that they can return to a normalised living routine following treatment. All schedules, duties and sessions are designed to have the maximum therapeutic benefit for all our patients in the early stages of their recovery.
We are focused on long-term solutions and sustainable recovery for individuals, families, organisations and communities.
