Treatment & Recovery Programmes
Substance use and addiction disorder treatment
Medically-Assisted Detox
-
During the detox you are considered a patient under the medical care of one of our consultant doctors and under the therapeutic care of the team at the clinic.
-
The programme runs for 5 – 14 days (or part thereof) and admission takes place at a pre-arranged time.
-
Once the client has been settled and is medically cleared, they are introduced to the treatment and recovery process and can start attending certain groups.
-
Detox clients are given plenty of time to rest and relax.
-
All detox clients will be seen by a clinical social worker to assist them with post-treatment plans.
-
The professional staff are available to assist the patients in making decisions and plans regarding full treatment and recovery plans and processes.
Inpatient Treatment
The inpatient programme introduces clients to multi-disciplinary approaches to recovery.
The programme focus is on:
-
Understanding the biopsychosocial nature of substance use and addiction disorders.
-
Learning practical tools and approaches to sustainable recovery.
-
Developing strong coping, communication and problem-solving skills to support wellness.
-
Building recovery capital around our social, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual resources.
-
Connecting with a community that supports an extended continuum of care as part of the programme.
-
The programme includes ongoing group aftercare treatment and support.
Outpatient and Aftercare
The Recovery Wellness Outpatient programme forms an essential part of the inpatient treatment process. The programme is available on a purely outpatient basis, and is also included in the inpatient programme as part of our commitment to extended care.
The focus of the programme is:
-
Creating a strong recovery grounded in connection and peer support.
-
Recovery coaching to support clients in building a meaningful, sustainable recovery.
-
Adult education to deepen knowledge and learning around recovery and wellness.
The programme is available for 12 months, and families are invited to attend the sessions on a Wednesday afternoon.
“It is impossible to understand addiction without asking what relief the addict finds, or hopes to find, in the drug or the addictive behaviour.”

Recovery Reintegration Programme:
The reintegration treatment programme is an extended programme which supports clients following the completion of their primary, inpatient programme.
The programme is designed to:
-
Provide a bridge between treatment and a full return to independent living.
-
Create ongoing structure, routine and accountability in a residential programme.
-
Give clients the opportunity to work and continue to focus on their recovery.
Clients are supported by a professional recovery coach or counsellor to support their ongoing process in an individual basis, and have ongoing access to the aftercare support group.
Halfway House and Sober Living:
The clinic offers limited halfway house and sober living accommodation for individuals who have completed their treatment at the clinic.
This is another part of our commitment to ongoing care. Clients need to have completed an inpatient and reintegration programme to be able to extended their treatment in the halfway house.
The focus is on developing resources and resilience while in your personal and professional life, while being supported by a professional team. Learning to be independent and self-reliant in recovery is an important part of the process. There are rules and guidelines which support the structure, schedule & active recovery process.
